Landscape-Structure Interactions | Second Year

Color Pavilion

This project focuses on constructing intricate and developed curves using simple triangulated surfaces. Using this technique, the project spanned both digital and physical spaces and investigated the relationships between the two. In particular, I chose to investigate the interactions between structure and landscape. By distilling complex geometries through 8 iterations of this project, I developed twisted tube shapes that rise out of the landscape, form together, and then break apart once again and blend back into the landscape. In later iterations, I utilized gradient colors to emphasize this idea of blended landscape and structure.
